Maribeth Theroux is a poet, comedian, and essayist based in northern New Jersey. Her poems have appeared in Hobart, Barrelhouse, Maudlin House, and Forklift, Ohio, among other places. Her work has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. In 2026, her essay "I own a Claude Monet crop top" was a finalist in the inaugural comedic personal essay contest from Asbury Book Cooperative.
